All of us here at Mark Holt & Co recognise that we have an impact on our surroundings, these of course can be good or bad. We aim for good impacts of course and to improve where we are not so good.
Community
Every month we aim to support at least one charity, local or national. We coordinate our fund raising activity with a team who run events ranging from charity auctions to mufti days. Not only this be we have recently introduced one day per year for the team to use for charitable work in addition to their normal leave. We’ll see how this works and keep this page updated with news and events. Environment
As we’re only an office it is easy to think that the impact on the environment would be very little. Wrong! We consume energy to heat and light the offices as well as materials to prepare and print client accounts. We signed up for a funded programme (through Envision – www.envisionsw.org.uk) to help identify our environmental impacts. Some simple housekeeping measures have already seen a 10% decrease in our energy usage as well as other benefits. This isn’t just good for the planet – it’s good for business.
