We know that business owners and managers are busy people. You have little time to read business books and to invest in broadening and improving your skills, and of course can only really experience issues from the perspective of one business...your own.
By contrast the team at Mark Holt & Co and Healium LLP have experience of hundreds of businesses of all shapes and sizes, in a wide variety of industries and in a range of financial circumstances. So there are very few situations or business issues that we have not seen before or for which we have no ideas to help.
The end result is that we have developed a large range of seminar and training programmes to help you to improve your knowledge and skills, using real issues, practical examples and speaking simple plain English!
We know that many seminars can be too detailed, too vague or just plain dull. Our sessions are therefore specifically designed to re-energise you as well as to inform. You will leave every one of our programmes not just with knowledge, but with practical ideas that can be implemented immediately in your businesses, and with genuine enthusiasm to do them.
We offer sessions of as little as 1 hour, and up to a full day, depending on the issues being covered and the depth of knowledge required, and most of these are free to attend. Some are run in conjunction with business partners such as the banks (HSBC and Barclays in particular) and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, and some we run ourselves. Events have been for as few as 4 participants and as many as 400.
For a number of clients we have developed tailored programmes to run ‘in-house’ specifically for their team and addressing the issues in their business.
Let’s be blunt. If you are not constantly seeking to learn and develop your own and your team’s knowledge and skills in this fast moving world we now live in, then you will very quickly get behind your competitors.
