The position:
The Tax Manager contributes to the oversight and leadership of our tax department.
This will include management of the compliance processes, review of compliance returns and overseeing the members of the team. On the advisory side the role entails supporting with the delivery of tax planning and tax advisory services to our clients.
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple facets of our tax practice and to deliver quality tax services, that will increase firm’s reputation.

Technical skills & responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within budget and timeframe
- Build relationships and interact with clients
- Review compliance returns
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Coordinate and help lead our tax team and passionate for developing and training them
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance processes
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Manage and coordinate tax audits/reviews
Practical experience & Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Tax Manager
- Excellent knowledge of tax and all types of compliance returns
- Strong technical tax knowledge across a broad range of taxes
- Good report writer and able to communicate complex tax issues clearly
- Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
- Team player with a positive ‘can do’ approach.
- A pro-active personality with a drive to succeed.
- Strong attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT)
- Or Fully Qualified Chartered Institute of Taxations (CTA)

The position:
A Tax Senior is responsible for working on client tax activities including tax planning, tax compliance and preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
The role will involve both advisory and compliance aspects. The successful candidate must understand tax legislation, compliance with relevant laws and the impact this has on a business. They must also be commercially aware and able to identify opportunities to minimise corporate taxation and the personal tax bills of their clients.
Technical skills & responsibilities:
- Exposure to a wide range of tax advisory projects with the support of colleagues
- Client contact and the opportunity to build client relationships
- Opportunity to build a network with other professionals, if desired
- Dealing with a wide range of tax queries with the support of the team and external advisors
- Corporation tax compliance and planning
- Tax Return preparation and reviews
- P11D and ERS preparation and reviews
- Income planning
- Delegating work to and training junior members of the team
- Manages one or more tasks simultaneously, ensuring overall success of the task.

Practical experience & skills:
- 3+ years of relevant experience

Qualifications:
- A Level or equivalent college experience
- Degree (not essential)
- Part or Fully Qualified Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT)
- Or Part or Fully Qualified Chartered Institute of Taxations (CTA)
